Life Is A Ratatouille

Here's a good, clear look at some previously secret characters from Pixar's upcoming Ratatouille on the cover of a tie-in book. As far as I can tell, the humans are Auguste Gusteau the chef, Linguini the kitchen boy and, presumably, his love interest.

Here's what I can surmise of the plot, as regards this motley lot: Ratatouille, the lead rat in the centre there (Remi on the left and Ratatouille's Dad on the right, I believe) creates a sensational soup which escalates first Linguini, then Ratatouille himself, to the status of superstar chef - much to the chagrin of Gusteau. Hijinks ensue - think God of Cookery by way of The Shoemaker and the Elves.
