Weinsteins And Lions Gate To Share Teeth

The Hollywood Reporter sez: Lionsgate and the Weinsteins are teaming up to co-distribute Teeth, the Mitchell Lichtenstein film that's getting some interesting and impressive notices from the audiences at Sundance.

Teeth is described as 'the story of a virginal girl whose vagina turns into a secret weapon', and, I suppose that's all you need to know right now. Somehow I don't think this will be quite as exciting and surprising a film as Wolfgang Buld's Penetration Angst, though it definitely has a better cast and higher production values.

The poster above is actually quite big if you click upon it. Her T-shirt slogan is a bit too on-the-nose, I think.
