New Disney Domains Reveal Some Exciting Stuff

The Disney Enquirer have dug up a whole heap of domain names newly registered to the Mouse House - but can't make much sense of most of them.

Let me try to explain as many as I can.

www.witchmountaindvd.com suggests that John Hough's Escape to Witch Mountain is getting a special edition DVD.

www.wildhogs2.com is a surefire sign of a fast track sequel.

www.ihatevalentinesday.com heralds the return of Nia Vardalos, creator of My Big Fat Greek Wedding. And I was only remarking on how dead and buried her career was a few days ago. I'll take that back. Sorry, Nia.

www.throughthelookingglass-themovie.com might seem to support those rumours of Pixar making an Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass movie - but some of the variants appear to shoot this down.

For example, www.alice-themovie.com and www.aliceondvd.com both support the simple assumption that Disney's animated Alice is to get a sequel. This may be another direct to DVD project, perhaps something for the tween market ala High School Musical maybe, but I think the idea of a cheap sequel to the Alice in Wonderland cartoon is most likely.

www.pool-rats.com refers to a new film from Andy Fickman, director of the Reefer Madness musical movie. He wrote this one too.

Best of all are the various 'Buy N Large' addresses. There's www.buynlargestore.com and www.bnl-us.com and www.bnlulstrastore.com and plenty more. These refer to Wal-E. Buy-N-Large is the huuuuuuuge but completely inept company hired to clean up Earth some 700 years into the future. Their president is played by Fred Willard - the first time we'll see a human performer appear in one of Pixar's digital worlds. It's going to be wild.
