More On The Miike Django

This is a follow up to a previous story.

Courtesy of Sanspo, here's a picture of the Sukiyaki Western: Django cast in costume - without Quentin. The site also contains some details of the plot, which spins off of the 1966 original by mixing in some of the story of the Genpai Wars.

Ito Hideaki is playing the Django character, who rides into the town of Yuda and intervenes in a gang war between the Minamoto and Taira clans. All sounds pretty much as expected. Shooting will wrap very soon and the film is expected to premiere in Japan around late July or August of next year.

Oh - and Tarantino's character is called Ringo. Just so you know.
